The Story
The Forge started in a shed behind a Byron Bay share house. Jake had been making wallets for mates — simple bifolds from offcuts he bought at the Lismore markets. Word spread, orders came in, and the shed turned into a workshop.
Five years later, every piece is still cut, stitched, and finished by hand. We use full-grain vegetable-tanned leather that develops a rich patina over years of use. No shortcuts, no glue-only construction, no synthetic linings.
Each item is made to order with a 3–4 week lead time. You choose the leather, the colour, the monogram. It's yours from the start.
