Stillwater studio

A Small Studio by Design

Stillwater was founded in 2012 by Kate and James Harrington — both registered architects with a shared conviction that residential design should be personal, site-responsive, and deeply considered.

We deliberately stay small. Three architects, one interior designer, and a studio manager. Every project gets direct principal involvement from concept to completion. No hand-offs, no junior-only teams, no assembly-line process.

Based in Noosa Heads, we work exclusively on residential projects across the Sunshine Coast, Hinterland, and wider South-East Queensland.
