What started as a weekend project became a proper candle business — born in the Hunter Valley and still made here by hand.
Saltbrush Candles began in 2020 when everyone was spending more time at home. We started experimenting — pouring candles at the kitchen table with soy wax, cotton wicks, and essential oils.
We booked a stall at the local farmers market and sold out before lunchtime. That was the moment we knew this could be something real.
Today, Saltbrush is still made in our studio just outside Cessnock. Every candle is hand-poured in small batches. We sell at markets across the Hunter Valley and ship Australia-wide.
